SOS Campaign: will be short, intensive, effective & starts Sat 5th in earnest
We are good to go starting this weekend
- KDW will be at Kidlington Market on Saturday 5th August 9.30 - 1.30
- volunteers are gearing up to start delivering information leaflets and objection cards
Can you help by pledging to deliver an SOS flyer and postcard to homes?
The more the merrier !
The most convenient way to volunteer is to visit the KDW stall in the Kidlington market (High Street) this coming Saturday or the following Saturdays 12 and 19 August), where you can collect a map, stash of leaflets and objection postcards, and posters.
We're working to allocate leafleting and make sure our volunteers cover all the streets without duplicating effort. Your time is precious. So do contact us before delivering to a new area.
We also still urgently need a few more volunteers to help at the KDW stall on these timeslots and dates:
Saturday 12 August Kidlington Market 9.30 to 11.30 & 11.30 to 1.30
Saturday 17 August Exeter Hall 4.00 to 6.00 & 6.00 to 8.00
Grateful for the support of local clubs and businesses
Free objection Drop boxes and supply points all around Kidlington. Please help show our gratitude by supporting these local traders
You will be able to submit letters and KDW postcards post free using one of our drop boxes
This time we'll have KDW Drop off box points at
- The Broadway News and Post office on the Parade
- Central Hair and Barbers
- La Patisserie on 1 Fairfax Rd
- Exeter Hall
- & anywhere displaying a special ‘SOS Campaign Drop off Point’ poster.
They will close Friday 25th at 12 noon so we can deliver to Cherwell in good time.
We're also grateful to Oxford Chiropractors on Mill Street, the Kidlington Centre and Kidlington VOICE for advertising
space.

Hi all, meeting at the entrance to Begbroke Science Park tomorrow morning at 8.30am to begin our protest. Banners and placards will be provided. Bring your friends! Any time that you can donate throughout the day or at any time over the weekend would be most welcome. Numbers count - let's make the most of this opportunity to raise the profile of our campaign!
For clarity, there are no plans to disrupt traffic as reported in error by the Oxford Mail. The group are just meeting at the pedestrian crossing by the Science Park.
