    A large football stadium has no place in Green Belt

    Oxford United FC seek permission to build a stadium and commercial complex on land owned by the County Council - land that was bought expressly to preserve the Kidlington Gap.

     Kidlington Development Watch (KDW) objects to this possible further loss of Green Belt.  If you feel the same then please support the Friends of Stratfield Brake. FoSB is new campaign group that seeks to:

    • object to a  massive stadium and commercial development in the Kidlington Gap;
    • encourage the County and City councils to work with OUFC to find a solution which doesn’t destroy yet more Green Belt and risk traffic chaos / other problems in our local area.

    Land already committed for housing and commercial development . (Land at Frieze Farm is earmarked for a replacement golf club)

    The 'triangle' of land  is shown in yellow.

    Should an 18,000 seat stadium be built here ?
